Biography

Will was born in Farnham and attended Weydon School and Farnham College. As a child he had piano lessons and joined the choir of St Thomas on the Bourne. Whilst at Weydon, Will started to learn the organ and was fortunate to have lessons with David Victor-Smith.

Will started to assist at some of the services at St Thomas on the Bourne and for a time was Assistant Organist, accompanying the choral services on a regular basis. A particular highlight was playing for radio broadcasts on Radio 2 and the World Service. Later, Will became the organist of Thursley Parish Church and also played for services at St. Andrews in Farnham, where he has accompanied the choir both there and at Chichester, Guildford, Portsmouth and Winchester Cathedrals.

Will is now organist at St Lawrence Church, Alton where he plays for services and accompanies the choir. He is a true asset to the musical life of the church.

Outside of Music, Will has worked both in Banking and Social Housing.
