CAF - CHARITIES AID FOUNDATION
DONATIONS TO THE ORGAN SOCIETY
The Organ Society has, over several years, received anonymous donations via the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). The donor (or donors) remains anonymous and the gifts have been made (a) to put towards the maintenance and restoration of the St Lawrence Church organ and (b) towards the normal activities of the Alton Organ Society. Needless to say, the Society committee members are extremely grateful to the donor or donors. Moreover, the money ensures the continued survival of the Speechly organ and success of the Society which, in October 2024, enters its 58th year. Yet again, the anonymous donor(s) recently (2024) gave the Society more money following the same conditions which are worth repeating: to put towards the maintenance and restoration of the St Lawrence Church organ and towards the normal activities of the Alton Organ Society.Thank you again for your very generous donation and the huge support of the Society.If the donor or donors happen to visit this website and read this, please accept the thanks of both the Society committee and those who attend our concerts for your extraordinary generosity.
